Memory and emotion are closely tied to physical memorabilia, so why not use this opportunity to stand out and create a real tactile connection? Give them what they want—souvenirs that delight. Even better, tie it to the reason they came in the first place.

For one industry event hosting over 15,000 AI developers, we wanted to leverage the still relatively new excitement around AI-generated images created from text prompts.
I asked our tech evangelism team to build an app that could demo our text-to-image model from multiple mobile devices. They completed it in under two weeks.
Meanwhile, I purchased label printers that could easily connect to the same mobile devices so we could print the generated AI images.
To make the experience even more unique, we encouraged the data scientists and developers who visited our booth to create the prompts. We then generated and printed the images onto label stickers, which were adhered to insulated coffee mugs.
This final touch allowed us to send guests home with custom swag they helped create.
It was a win-win.
They got something unique and fun.
We got 3K+ developers to try a hands-on demo.

Sometimes, good physical brand can be inspired by good digital media. After running a model-forward media campaign and seeing great results, we decided to maximize the creative by designing t-shirts with the same artwork. These were a hit with our technical audience and they featured one of our partners.
